Physical intimacy before marriage

Physical relations before marriage are a grave danger to the society.  This is such a blatant indecency that no religion in this world permits it, as permitting this is to drive the society toward its destruction.

Maintaining sexual relations before marriage is a very great sin and invites the wrath of Allah Ta’ala.  Islam teaches modesty, chastity and orders us to practice modesty.  Let alone having such relationships, Islam does not even allow one to approach them.  Allah Ta’ala says:

And do not draw near to shameful deeds (whether) open or hidden.

(Surah An’aam-151)

And do not even go near unlawful sex (adultery). Verily it is an act of lewdness and is the most evil way.

(Surah Isra-32)

The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said:

Translation of Hadith:  Whoever sees the beauty of a woman with desire, then on the day of Qiyamah, molten lead will be poured in his eyes.  (Hidayah, Vol. 4, Pg. No. 458)

Touching or caressing a non-Mahram is strictly prohibited.  There are warnings in the Hadith about this.  Thus, there is a Hadith:

Translation of Hadith:  Whoever touches the hand of non-Mahram woman, then on the day of Qiyamah, a burning ember will be placed on his hand.  (Hidayah, Vol. 4, Pg. No. 459).

The warnings mentioned in the above Hadith hold good for women also who allow unrelated men to see them or give them an opportunity to touch them.

In the light of the Holy Quran and Hadith, sexual relations between boys and girls, under whatever name or of whatever type is strictly prohibited.  The laws of the Shariah cannot be broken in the name of love or freedom.

Allah Ta’ala says: Surah Baqarah 229

These are the limits (set) by Allah. So, do not exceed them. And those who exceed the limits prescribed by Allah, it is they who are the wrongdoers.
