Those deeds which let a woman into paradise

Those deeds which let a woman into paradise

It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Anas (May Allah be well pleased with him), he says that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said:  The woman who offers Salaat 5 times a day, fasts in Ramadhan, guards her chastity and obeys her husband, she may enter paradise through any door that she wishes to.  This is related by Abu Nu’aim in Hilya.

It is narrated on the authority of the mother of the believers Hadhrat Umme Salamah (May Allah be well pleased with her), she says:  The woman who dies in a state that her husband is pleased with her will enter paradise.  This is related by Tirmidhi.

Characteristics of the best women

It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be well pleased with him), he says that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) was asked:  What kind of woman is the best?  He said:  The best woman is the one whose husband is gladdened when he sees her, when her husband gives her an order she fulfills it and who doesn’t displease her husband in matters of her own self and the husband’s wealth.  This is related by Nasai and by Baihaqui in Shu’abul Imaan.

For a wife, after Allah Most High, it is her husband whom she should obey

It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be well pleased with him), he says that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said:  If I had ordered anyone to prostrate to someone other than Allah, I would have ordered women to prostrate to their husbands (which means that the Prophet did not give such an order and thus prostrating to anybody or anything is forbidden).  This is related by Tirmidhi.
