The day of Qiyamah will be a day of great fear and terror, but those slaves of Allah Ta’ala who fear Him and none else, Allah Ta’ala will keep them safe from the fear and terror of this day. It is well established by many verses of the Holy Quran and many Sahih (rigorously-authenticated) Hadith that on this day Allah Ta’ala will especially favor His pious slaves and will reveal their grand status before the entire creation. Because of the favors of Allah Ta’ala, the Auliya (Saints) and the pious slaves of Allah Ta’ala will be extremely happy and overjoyed. The worry about the Qiyamah will not affect them. Allah Ta’ala says:
(Even) the Greatest Horror (of the Day of Rising) will not grieve them and the angels will welcome them, (saying:) ‘This is (but) your Day which you were promised.’ Surah Ambiya (21:103)
There is for them the good news (of honour and recognition) in the life of the world, and (also of forgiveness and intercession) in the Hereafter. (Or there are blessed spiritual visions in this world in the form of pious dreams, and in the Hereafter in the shape of effulgent disclosures of Allah’s Absolute Beauty and Sight.) The Commands of Allah never change. That is the colossal achievement. Surah Younus (10:64)
From the entire corpus of Hadith, some are being presented as an illustration. There is a Hadith in Sunan Abu Dawood:
Translation of Hadith: It has been narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Umar Bin Khattab (May Allah be well pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: Indeed! There are some slaves of Allah Ta’ala who are neither Prophets nor martyrs, because of their status on the day of Qiyamah, the Prophets and the martyrs will praise them.
The Sahabah asked: O Prophet of Allah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)! Who will be they? The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: They love each other only because of the mercy and benevolence of Allah Ta’ala, neither because of mutual relationships nor because of monetary dealings. By Allah! Their faces will be very radiant and they will be on pulpits of Noor. When people will be fearful, they will have no fear. When people will be sad, they will not be sad and then the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) recited the verse: Ala Inna Auliya Allahi La Khaufun Alaihim Wa La Hum Yahzanoon. (Sunan Abu Dawood, Vol. 2, Pg. No. 495, Hadith No. 3528)
This Hadith is present in Mishkaatul Masabeeh, Vol. 2, Pg. No. 426, in Zujajatul Masabeeh, Vol. 4, Pg. No. 103 and in the following books as well: Mustadrak Al Hakim, Musnad Imam Ahmed, Mojam Tabarani, Shu’abul Iman Lil Baihaqui, Hilyatul Auliya Li Abi Na’eem, Ibn Asakar, Ibn Abid Dunya, Ibn ABi Hatim. It has been mentioned in Kanz Ul Ummal on the authority of Ibn Mardwaiy at more than 8 places, Twice in At Targhib Wat Tarhib, Vol. 4, Pg. No. 11/12, thrice in Jame’ Ul Ahadith Wal Maraseel, Vol. 1, Pg. No. 330, Vol. 3 Pg. No. 152, Vol. 18, Pg. No. 248, once in Majma Uz Zawaaid in Babul Mutahabbeena Fillahi ‘Azza Wa Jall and once in Musnad Harith (Vol. 2, Pg. No. 993)
Muhaddith-E-Deccan Abul Hasanaat Hadhrat Syed Abdullah Shah Sahab Naqshbandi Mujaddidi Qadri (May Allah shower His mercy on him) has mentioned a Hadith in Zujajatul Masabeeh on the authority of Jame’ Tirmidhi in Vol. 4, Pg. No. 103 in which the following words are mentioned:
Translation of Hadith: There will be pulpits of Noor for them, the Prophets and martyrs will praise them.
Along with this, their dress will also be radiant. There is a lengthy Hadith in Kanz Ul Ummal on the authority of Musnad Imam Ahmed in which the following words are mentioned:
Translation of Hadith: Allah Ta’ala will place pulpits for them. They will take their seats on them and indeed, their dress also will be radiant and their faces will be radiant.
In short, the beloved and pious slaves of Allah Ta’ala will be in joy in Qiyamah. They will be delighted at the favors of Allah Ta’ala. There will be pulpits of Noor for them, their dress will be radiant and their faces also will be radiant.
