THE HOLY PROPHET'S GENEROSITY

HIS GENEROSITY

The Prophet of Allah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) is extremely generous. He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) would never let down any person because Allah SWT has placed the keys of all the treasures in His hand and He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) is the Disseminator and the holder of the treasures and Allah SWT is the One who gives. Nobody would come back empty-handed from His door. The Lord Almighty says:

"Therefore treat not the orphan with harshness " Surah Zuha (93:09)

His benevolence was such that the one who asks would get over and above what he/she wanted.

Hadhrat Anas (May Allah be well pleased with him) says, "Whatever He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) was asked, He gave." Once the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) gave a person all the goats of a valley. That person went back and announced in his tribe: “O people embrace Islam, Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) grants so much that there is no danger of starvation.” (Sahih Muslim Vol 2, Pg No: 253)

The flag of praise i.e. Liwa al Hamd will be in the hands of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). Hadhrat Adam (Peace be upon him) and the entire creation will be under that flag." And the flag of praise will be in my hand and I am not proud because of it. Prophet Adam (Peace be upon him) and along with him every Prophet will be under my flag." (Zujajatul Masabeeh, Vol 5, Pg No: 15)

Tirmidhi and Sunan Darmi, both have a Hadith: "The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), "On that day honor and the keys of heaven will be in My hand." (Sunan Darmi, muqaddima, Pg No: 24; Zujajatul Masabeeh, Vol 5, Pg No: 14)

The keys to heaven will be in the hands of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) and He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) will be the first one to knock at the doors of Jannah. There is Hadith: “And I will be the first one to get the doors of heaven opened.” (Sahih Muslim, Vol 1, Pg No: 112; Zujajatul Masabeeh Vol 5, Pg No: 18)

HIS ABSOLUTE POWER

The Holy Prophet’s (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) power is not limited to this earthly world, but it holds good even in the heavenly and spiritual worlds. The way the already set sun turned back on His command, in the same way, on His command, the sun stopped its course, according to the Hadith given in Khasaais Ul Kubra on the authority of Tabarani.

Translation: “The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) commanded the sun and it stopped its course for 1 sa’aa (a period of time).” (Khasais Kubra, Vol 2, Pg No: 82)

SPLIT THE MOON INTO 2 WITH ONE GESTURE OF HIS HAND.

The Hadith of the splitting of the moon is present in Sahih Bukhari, kitab ut Tafseer. Hadhrat Anas (May Allah be well pleased with him) says: “The people of Makkah requested the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) to show them a sign of His Prophethood. The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) split the for moon them. Hadhrat Abdullah Bin Maso'od says, "In the time of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), the moon was split into 2. 1 piece was over the mountain and the other was in the valley of the mountain."
