A clear proof of the Prophethood of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)

&nbsp;&nbsp;<span style="font-family: Verdana; text-align: justify;">Being a Prophet or a saint is a wealth which the common folk cannot see.</span><span style="font-family: Verdana; text-align: justify;">&nbsp;&nbsp;</span><span style="font-family: Verdana; text-align: justify;">That&rsquo;s why Almighty Allah says in the Holy Quran:</span> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Is it amazing for the people that We sent down Revelation to a (perfect) man from amongst themselves: &lsquo;Warn (the disoriented and distracted) people (of Allah&rsquo;s torment), and give glad tidings to the believers that there is high rank (i.e., exalted status) for them in the presence of their Lord&rsquo;? The disbelievers said: &lsquo;Indeed, this person is an evident magician.&rsquo;&nbsp; Surah Younus (2:10)<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Astonishment is being expressed at a human being being made a Prophet.&nbsp; What about making idols of stones and metals as gods?&nbsp; No astonishment for that?<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">It is mentioned in the Holy Quran:<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">And they said: &lsquo; Why has this Qur&rsquo;an not been sent down upon some high-ranking personage (i.e., some chief, landlord, or the affluent) of the two towns (<st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Mecca</st1:city></st1:place>&nbsp;and Ta&rsquo;if)?&rsquo; &nbsp;Surah Zukhruf (31:43)<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><b><i><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Details about the life of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)</span></i></b><span style="font-family: Verdana;"><o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) lived with Hadhrat Abu Talib.&nbsp; Hadhrat Abu Talib himself couldn&rsquo;t get enough to eat.&nbsp; He had seen this for himself a number of times that when the members of the household ate along with the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), all of them would be satiated.&nbsp; If they would eat without the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, they would still remain hungry.&nbsp; That&rsquo;s why, Hadhrat Abu Talib would always eat along with the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam).&nbsp; If He wasn&rsquo;t present, he would search and get Him so that through His blessings, everyone&rsquo;s hunger would be appeased.<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Of course, the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) had was the best of all with regard to lineage.&nbsp; Though, lineage and family don&rsquo;t play any role in Prophethood itself, but following a man of high lineage isn&rsquo;t considered an insult by anyone else.&nbsp; The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) had this but had no other worldly ease.&nbsp; For this reason, the elite of Makkah would say:<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Is it amazing for the people that We sent down Revelation to a (perfect) man from amongst themselves ..<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Are people astonished that We have sent divine revelations to someone from among themselves<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">We are revealing the Holy Quran to one among them who is not wealthy.&nbsp; Are they astonished at this?&nbsp; O ungrateful humans!&nbsp; Very nicely are you valuing our bounties!&nbsp; Very finely are you thanking us!&nbsp; It is our compassion that we don&rsquo;t always make wealthy ones the prophets.&nbsp; If Prophets were always kings and wealthy folk, then obedience to them would be because of their power and wealth.&nbsp; Truth would not be expressed with it and it wouldn&rsquo;t prove that Islam is the (true) religion.<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">In spite of the fact that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) didn&rsquo;t have any rule or empire, neither was he learned nor did he have any worldly accomplishment, suddenly powerful rulers and the highly accomplished people lowered their heads before Him.&nbsp; This is a clear proof of the Prophethood of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" align="right" style="text-align: right;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">[</span><span style="font-family: 'Comic Sans MS';">Excerpted from Milaadnama of Hadhrat Muhaddith-e-Deccan</span><span style="font-family: Verdana;">]</span></p>
