Hadhrat Qasim bin Muhammad bin Abu Bakr (May Allah be well pleased with them)


&nbsp;<br /> <span style="font-family: Verdana; ">Hadhrat Imam Qasim is the son of Hadhrat Muhammad bin Abu Bakr (May Allah be well pleased with him).</span><span style="font-family: Verdana; ">&nbsp; </span><span style="font-family: Verdana; ">He was born in the caliphate of Hadhrat Ali (May Allah be well pleased with him), as Imam Dhahabi has written in </span><i style="font-family: Verdana; ">Siyaru A&rsquo;alaam In Nubala</i><span style="font-family: Verdana; "> in Vol. 5, Pg. No. 54.</span> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">The Imam writes about him:</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">Translation: Hadhrat Qasim (May Allah be well pleased with him) is the son of Hadhrat Muhammad (May Allah be well pleased with him) who is the son of the Caliph of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) Hadhrat Abu Bakr (May Allah be well pleased with him) who is the son of Hadhrat Abdullah bin Quhafa (May Allah be well pleased with him).</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">When his father passed away, Hadhrat Qasim (May Allah be well pleased with him) was aged 7 years.&nbsp; His mother was the daughter of the last king of Persia.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">Hadhrat Qasim (May Allah be well pleased with him) was the Imam of his times, a great leader and a Hafidh of Hadith.&nbsp; The veracity of Islam would be seen on his blessed face.&nbsp; He was a great scholar of Madina of his era.&nbsp; (Siyaru A&rsquo;alaamin Nubala, Vol. Pg. No. 53, 54</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">The Naqshbandi order of Tasawwuf reaches Hadhrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (May Allah be well pleased with him) through him through Hadhrat Salman Farsi (May Allah be well pleased with him).</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">Hadhrat Qasim (May Allah be well pleased with him) drew benefit from Hadhrat Salman Farsi and Hadhrat Imam Ja&rsquo;afar Sadiq (May Allah be well pleased with him) is his caliph.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">He has a very high status in the sciences of Hadith.&nbsp; He studied under Hadhrat &lsquo;Aisha Siddiqua (May Allah be well pleased with her) and also from Hadhrat &lsquo;Abdullah bin &lsquo;Abbas and Hadhrat &lsquo;Abdullah bin &lsquo;Umar (May Allah be well pleased with them).</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">Hadhrat Qasim (May Allah be well pleased with him) related Hadith from:&nbsp; Hadhrat &lsquo;Abdullah bin Mas&rsquo;ud, Hadhrat Zainab bint Jahsh, Hadhrat Fatima bint Qais, Hadhrat &lsquo;Abdullah bin &lsquo;Abbas, Hadhrat &lsquo;Abdullah bin &lsquo;Umar, Hadhrat Asma bint &lsquo;Umais, Hadhrat Abu Hurairah, Hadhrat Rafe&rsquo; bin Khudaij, Hadhrat &lsquo;Abdullah bin Khabbaab, Hadhrat &lsquo;Abdullah bin &lsquo;Amr, Hadhrat Mu&rsquo;awiya, Hadhrat Taifa, Hadhrat Saleh bin Khuwaat, Hadhrat &lsquo;Abdul Rahman bin Yazeed bin Jariya and Hadhrat Mujamma&rsquo; bin Yazeed bin Jariya.&nbsp; May Allah be well pleased with all of them.&nbsp; (Siyaru A&rsquo;alaamin Nubala, Pg. No. 54)</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">Imam Ibn Madeeni (May Allah shower His mercy on him) says that 200 Hadith are related on his authority.&nbsp; (Siyaru A&rsquo;alaamin Nubala, Vol. 5, Pg. No. 54)</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">Hadhrat Mus&rsquo;ab Zubairi (May Allah shower His mercy on him) says that Hadhrat Qasim (May Allah be well pleased with him) is among the best of the successors (<i>Khiyaar Taba&rsquo;een</i>)&nbsp; (Siyaru A&rsquo;alaamin Nubala, Vol. 5, Pg. No. 57)</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">Hadhrat &lsquo;Abdur Rahman bin Abu Zinad (May Allah shower His mercy on him) narrates on the authority of his father:</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">Translation: Hadhrat Abu Zinad (May Allah shower His mercy on him) says:&nbsp; I have never seen anyone having more knowledge of Hadith than Hadhrat Qasim bin Muhammad (May Allah be well pleased with him) and no one can be accomplished unless they have the cognizance (&lsquo;<i>Irfan</i>) of Hadith as well.&nbsp; (Hilyatul Auliya Wa Tabaqatul Asfiya, Vol. 2, Pg. No. 184)</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">In the sciences of Jurisprudence (<i>Fiqh</i>) as well, Hadhrat Qasim (May Allah be well pleased with him) is ranked very highly.&nbsp; He is reckoned among the 7 Jurisprudents of Madina.&nbsp; Hadhrat Muhaddith-e-Deccan Abul Hasanaat Syed Abdullah Shah Naqshbandi Mujaddidi Qadri (May Allah shower His mercy on him) writes in his famous tract, &ldquo;Gulzar Auliya&rdquo;:</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">There were 7 Jurisprudents in Madina.&nbsp; He was one among them.&nbsp; In his time, there was no one more aware of the Sunnah than him. &nbsp;He passed away between Makkah and Madina in 106 Hijri.&nbsp; He was in Ihraam for either Hajj or &lsquo;Umrah.&nbsp; (<i>Gulzar Auliya</i>)</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">He was an epitome of piety and his life was the very picture of piety and virtuousness.&nbsp; He would always be busy in remembrance of Allah.&nbsp; He was very kind and merciful and would treat people with love and affection.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">There is a Tradition in Hilyatul Auliya:</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">Translation: Hadhrat Ibn Abu Zinad (May Allah shower His mercy on him) narrates on the authority of his father:&nbsp; I have never seen any Jurisprudent more excellent than Hadhrat Qasim bin Muhammad (May Allah be well pleased with him).&nbsp; (Hilyatul Auliya Wa Tabaqaat Us Sufiya, Vol. 2, Pg. No. 184)</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">Not only jurisprudence, Allah Most High had made accomplished and excellent in all aspects.&nbsp; For this reason, Hadhrat Yahya bin Sa&rsquo;eed (May Allah shower His mercy on him) says:</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">Translation: We haven&rsquo;t seen anyone in Madina whom we may declare to be better than Hadhrat Qasim bin Muhammad (May Allah be well pleased with him).</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">Hadhrat Ayyub (May Allah shower His mercy on him) says about Hadhrat Qasim (May Allah be well pleased with him):</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">Translation: I have seen Hadhrat Qasim bin Muhammad (May Allah be well pleased with him).&nbsp; He was wearing a cap of green wool.&nbsp; He had a colored mantle with him on which was a mark of saffron.&nbsp; (Hilyatul Auliya Wa Tabaqaat Us Sufiya, Vol. 2, Pg.
