Reward from saving oneself from sins in Haj

<p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;">It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be well pleased with him), he said that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: Whoever performs Haj for Allah <i>(Subhanahu Wa Ta&rsquo;ala)</i> and in Ihram does not have sex with his wife and (in the journey) is not rude and does not quarrel (with his/her fellow passengers) and avoids the major sins, then after completion of Haj, that person becomes as purified of sins as he was when his mother delivered him.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span lang="ER" dir="RTL">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;">Bukhari and Muslim have both recorded this Hadith.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><b><i><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Which sins are forgiven because of Haj and which are not</span></i></b></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span lang="ER" dir="RTL">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;">We learn many things from the aforementioned Hadith. First and foremost, the Haj should be only for Allah <i>(Subhanahu Wa Ta&rsquo;ala)</i> and not for show. Similarly, it should be free of other worldly intentions.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span lang="ER" dir="RTL">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;">This Hadith says that the person who performs Haj only for Allah <i>(Subhanahu Wa Ta&rsquo;ala)</i> becomes as purified of sins as he was at birth.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span lang="ER" dir="RTL">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;">Here it should be remembered that there are 2 kinds of sins, one minor, the other major. Then the major sins are also divided in 2 kinds: First are the rights of Allah <i>(Subhanahu Wa Ta&rsquo;ala)</i> and the second are the rights to the creation. Everyone agrees that because of Haj, the minor sins are all forgiven. But in the major sins, the rights owed to the creation like a loan is not forgiven until repaid. In the same way, in the rights owed to Allah <i>(Subhanahu Wa Ta&rsquo;ala)</i>, the number of Salaat missed also should be offered and the Zakaat, which had to be paid, but was not paid, should also be paid. Because of Haj, the sin of delaying the missed Salaat and Zakaat will be forgiven. If they pray to Allah <i>(Subhanahu Wa Ta&rsquo;ala)</i>, He accepts their prayers and if they ask for forgiveness of sins, then Allah <i>(Subhanahu Wa Ta&rsquo;ala)</i> forgives their sins.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;">Those who perform Haj or Umrah and the warriors in the path of Allah <i>(Subhanahu Wa Ta&rsquo;ala)</i> are the guests of Allah</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span lang="ER" dir="RTL">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;">It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be well pleased with him), he says that I heard the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) say: Allah's guests are 3 people:</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;">1) Those who fight in the path of Allah <i>(Subhanahu Wa Ta&rsquo;ala)</i>.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;">2) Those who perform Haj.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;">3) Those who perform Umrah.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span lang="ER" dir="RTL">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;">This Hadith has been recorded by Imam Nasai and Imam Baihaqui has also recorded this Hadith in Shu&rsquo;abul Iman.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;">Before entering the house, the Haji should be requested to pray for forgiveness of sins.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span lang="ER" dir="RTL">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;">It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Abdullah Bin Umar (May Allah be well pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: When you meet a Haji (who has just returned after completion of Haj), greet him (or her) with Salaam, shake hands with him and request him to pray for the forgiveness of your sins, because before entering the house, the Haji is a traveler in the path of Allah <i>(Subhanahu Wa Ta&rsquo;ala)</i>, is pure of sins (and if he prays for the forgiveness of sins, that person will also be forgiven)</p>
