The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) is the lord and master of Jannah


<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed"><br /> <br /> There is a Hadith in Sahih Muslim that once the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) asked Hadhrat Rab&lsquo;eea Bin Ka&rsquo;ab Aslami (May Allah be well pleased with him) to ask of Him.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>He said:<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>I desire your company in Jannah.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>On this the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said:<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>Do you want anything else apart from this?<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>Hadhrat Rab&lsquo;eea (May Allah be well pleased with him) said:<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>That is enough for me.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said:<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>You help me with ample prostrations.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed">Hadhrat Mulla &lsquo;Ali Qari (May Allah shower His mercy on him) writes in the interpretation of this Hadith:</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:12.0pt;text-align:left;direction:ltr; unicode-bidi:embed">Translation: The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) kept the question open-ended, which shows that Allah has granted such authority to the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) that He can grant whatever He wants to anybody from the treasures of the Lord.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>Ibn Saba&rsquo;a (May Allah shower His mercy on him) and others have mentioned in the distinctions of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) that Allah had made the land of Jannah the property of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam).<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>How much ever He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) wants, He can grant to others.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>(Mirqaat Ul Mafateeh, Vol. 2, Pg. No. 323)</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed"><b><i>Sell this to me in lieu of a spring of Jannah</i></b></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed"><span lang="AR-SA" dir="RTL">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed">As Allah has made the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) the lord of Jannah, by the grant of Allah, He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) can grant others Jannah as well. As given in this Hadith of Mo&rsquo;jam Kabeer of Imam Tabarani:</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed">Translation: Abu Salma Basheer Aslami narrates on the authority of his father that when the Companions emigrated from Makkah to Madina, they didn&rsquo;t like the water there.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>A certain person from the clan of Ghifar had a spring of fresh water, which was called Rooma.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>He would sell one waterskin of that for 1 &ldquo;Mudd&rdquo;.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) told him:<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>Sell this spring to me in lieu of a spring of Jannah.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>He said:<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>O Prophet of Allah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)!<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>Me and my family subsist on this only.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>It is not possible for me.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>Hadhrat &lsquo;Uthman (May Allah be well pleased with him) learnt of this and bought this off the owner for 35,000 Dirhams.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>Then he went to the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) and said:<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>O Prophet of Allah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)!<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>The way you had assigned a spring of Jannah for that person, if I buy it will you grant me the spring of Jannah?<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said:<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>Yes.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>He said:<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>I have bought the spring of Rooma and turn it into an endowment for all Muslims.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>(Mo&rsquo;jam Kabeer Tabarani , Hadith No. 1226)</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed">This Hadith clearly shows that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) is the lord of Jannah, He can give it to whomever He wants to.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>It is a belief of the Companions that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) can sell Jannah as well.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed"><b><i>Hadhrat &lsquo;Uthman (May Allah be well pleased with him) bought Jannah from the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)</i></b></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed"><span lang="AR-SA" dir="RTL">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed">Imam Hakim Neshpuri (May Allah shower His mercy on him) has narrated a Hadith in Mustadrak on the authority of Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be well pleased with him):</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed"><span lang="AR-SA" dir="RTL">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed">Translation:<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>It has been narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be well pleased with him), he said: Hadhrat &lsquo;Uthman (May Allah be well pleased with him) has purchased Jannah twice from the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), one when he dug the spring of &ldquo;Ma&lsquo;oona&rdquo; and the second time, when he provided equipment to the army going to Tabook.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed">After this, Imam Hakim writes:<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>The chain of narration of this Hadith is Sahih (rigorously authenticated)<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>(Mustadarak &lsquo;Alas Sahihain, Vol. 3, Pg. No. 107)</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed"><b><i>Sell this to me in lieu of a tree of Jannah</i></b></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed">It is given in Musnad Imam Ahmad Bin Hambal that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said:<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>Sell this to me in lieu of a date palm of Jannah.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>(Musnad Imam Ahmad Bin Hambal, Hadith No. 13992)</p>
