Presenting oneself to the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) - Desire of every Muslim


<p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed"><br /> <br /> It is the heartfelt wish of every Muslim that he/she should present himself/herself before the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) at least once in life.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>Those people are lucky whom Allah has granted the honor of visiting the sanctuary of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam).</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed">Whenever any troubled person comes to the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), his/her troubles are transformed into comforts.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>Here, the helpless are helped and the disgraceful are granted grace and honor.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>If a sinner comes, he/she returns with arms full of forgiveness and pardon, because Allah has made the door of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) a means of eternal blessings and benedictions and the closest possible means of acquiring closeness to Allah.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>Allah has made His door a great center for forgiveness.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>Allah says in Surah Nisa:</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed">And We have not sent any Messenger but that he must be obeyed by the Command of Allah. And, (O Beloved,) if they, having wronged their souls, had come to you imploring the forgiveness of Allah and the Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him) had also asked forgiveness for them, then (owing to this mediation and intercession) they would certainly have found Allah Most Relenting, Ever-Merciful. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp;</span>Surah Nisa (4:64)</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed">All the experts of Hadith and Quranic exegesis agree that this command is not limited to the earthly life of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)<span style="mso-bidi-font-family:Mangal;mso-bidi-language:HI">, but even after the passing away of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) into the presence of Allah, this command holds good.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed"><span style="mso-bidi-font-family:Mangal;mso-bidi-language:HI">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed"><span style="mso-bidi-font-family:Mangal;mso-bidi-language:HI">These are the words of </span>Mufti Hafidh Syed Ziauddin Naqshbandi Qadri, Professor, Islamic Law, Jamia Nizamia, Founder/Director, Abul Hasanaat Islamic Research Center in the weekly lecture organized by AHIRC at Masjid Abul Hasanaat.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed">The Mufti said that a sinner is not looked at with respect in the society.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>He/she is not considered worthy of company in the society, but when the same sinner comes laden with repentance before the Benevolent Master (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) and He puts in a word for the sinner, then the blessings of both the worlds become the destiny of that sinner.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>The one who reaches the door of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) is never left deprived.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed">It has been narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Hasan Basri who says:<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>Hadhrat Hatim Asamm (May Allah shower His mercy on him) went to the blessed grave of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) and supplicated:<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>O Allah!<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>We are at the door of your Beloved (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam).<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>Don&rsquo;t return us empty handed.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>A voice replied:<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>If We didn&rsquo;t want to accept you, we would never have given you the chance to come here.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>You are returning from here in such a state we have forgiven you and all others who came here.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed">The Mufti related a Hadith on the authority of Mo&rsquo;jam Kabeer Tabarani , Mo&rsquo;jam Ausat Tabarani, Mustadarak &lsquo;Alas Sahihain, Majma &lsquo;Uz Zawaid, Jame&rsquo; Ul Ahadith Wal Maraseel, Jame&rsquo; Kabeer, Kanz Ul Ummal that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said:<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>Whoever comes to visit me in such a state that there is no other purpose to that visit apart from visiting me, then I take the responsibility of that person&rsquo;s intercession.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed">The lecture ended with Salaam and Dua.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>Maulana Hafidh Syed Wahid Ali Qadri, Teacher, Jamia Nizamia, led the proceedings and Maulana Hafidh Muhammad Khalid Ali Qadri, Teacher, Jamia Nizamia, thanked the audience.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed"><span style="mso-bidi-font-family:Mangal;mso-bidi-language:HI">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed"><span style="mso-bidi-font-family:Mangal;mso-bidi-language:HI">&nbsp;</span></p>
