<p class="MsoNormal">Hadhrat Muhaddith-E-Deccan (May Allah Ta’ala shower His Mercy on him) is a flawless Sufi. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>Tasawwuf is the name given to the cleaning of hearts. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>Hadhrat (May Allah Ta’ala shower His Mercy on him) has cleaned the hearts of innumerable people. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>Through his company, many people became pious, well meaning and were blessed with the ni’mah of the heart. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>He taught many people, the sciences of the Shariah, the secrets of the Tariqa and the nuances of the Shariah. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>Even today his spiritual legacy is being carried forward.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">Hadhrat Muhaddith-E-Deccan (May Allah Ta’ala shower His Mercy on him) illumined the world with his normative and mystical knowledge. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>Even today, his books are stars of guidance for those who desire the path of truth and the proximity of Allah Ta’ala. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>He was an expert in the exegesis (Tafseer) of the Holy Quran. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>He has written Tafseer Surah Yousuf. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>His other books also are filled with Tafseer of many different verses of the Holy Quran. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>In the interpretation of the verse,</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">It is He who hath produced you from a single person: here is a place of sojourn and a place of departure. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>Surah Anam (6:98)</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">Hadhrat Muhaddith-E-Deccan (May Allah Ta’ala shower His Mercy on him) writes and proves that the import of this verse is what can be understood without any circumlocution or evasive techniques (Tawil). <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>In fact, the real import of this verse is that the Powerful Lord who created this world, created this world from one Person, i. e. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>the Noor of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>For this reason, the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) says: The thing which Allah Ta’ala created first is my Noor.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>“Mawaaiz-e-Hasana” is a great book in the world among the books of Tasawwuf. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>These are not only sayings and utterances, but are a memoir of the social and cultural ethos of that era. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>It is for this reason that they are looked upon with respect. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>“Mawaaiz-e-Hasana” is a great addition to the corpus of Urdu literature. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>Their language is very lucid and the style is heartwarming, even a layman can understand them very easily.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">The Imams and the Jurists (Mujtahideen) are all in agreement on the principles of Islam, but the difference of opinion about the branches of Islam, is on the basis of Ijtihaad i. e. on the basis of their research and the way they interpret the law. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>Every Imam has Hadith in support of his school of Fiqh and the followers of each school of Fiqh respect each other. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>No one taunts each other. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>But from some quarters, objections are being raised on the Hanafi school of Fiqh that it is based only on opinions and estimations and some have gone to the extent that Imam Abu Hanifa (May Allah be well pleased with him) does not have well authenticated (Sahih) Hadith! In this connection, Hadhrat Muhaddith-E-Deccan (May Allah Ta’ala shower His Mercy on him) authored a noteworthy book by name “Zujajatul Masabeeh” in 5 copious volumes. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>In these books, he has recorded those Hadith which are the foundation of Hanafi school of Fiqh. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>Maintaining the reverence and respect of the other Imams, he has recorded Hadith, irrespective whether they are related to worship or to affairs of daily life. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>He has mentioned the proofs for the Hanafi school of Fiqh. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>He has authored very valuable explanatory notes. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>He also explained each and every Hadith in many different manners.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">Hadhrat Muhaddith-E-Deccan (May Allah Ta’ala shower His Mercy on him) is a great Sufi of India and in particular of Deccan. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>He has nurtured the souls of thousands of disciples. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>Through his character and life, he has explained the rules of the Shariah to every person; he has guided his disciples on the path to Allah Ta’ala suluk and as an author and a Sufi, he has blessed his disciples with the secrets, teachings and the illuminations of the Naqshbandi order of Tasawwuf. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>His whole life was spent in worship and writing. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>Hadhrat Muhaddith-E-Deccan (May Allah Ta’ala shower His Mercy on him) was such a follower of the Shariah and the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) that every act of his would be a portrayal of the Sunnah.</p>
