<p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;">Allah Ta'ala has made the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) absolute mercy and the fountainhead of guidance.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>His mercy is not confined or limited to a certain country or a class of people, but He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) is mercy for all the worlds and the whole universe.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>Allah Ta'ala says:</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span lang="AR-SA" dir="RTL">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;">And, (O Esteemed Messenger,) We have not sent you but as a Mercy for all the worlds. <span style="">&nbsp;</span>Surah Ambiya-107</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span lang="AR-SA" dir="RTL">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;">&quot;Worlds&quot; includes everything in the world except Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala).<span style="">&nbsp; </span>They way the whole world receives the blessings of the Lordship &quot;Rububiyyah&quot; of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala), in the same way, the whole world receives the blessings of the Prophethood and the mercy of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam).</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span lang="AR-SA" dir="RTL">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;">The one who is being merciful comes first and those who receive the mercy come later.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>The way parents are a mercy for children and so they come before the children.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) is a mercy for the whole universe and thus, He came before the whole universe.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span lang="AR-SA" dir="RTL">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;">One can be merciful only when one is aware of the needs of those who receive the mercy, so that they can be helped in time and their difficulties can be changed with comfort.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>That is why, Allah Ta'ala has created the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) all knowledgeable and all powerful.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span lang="AR-SA" dir="RTL">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;">When the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) came in to his earthly world, the first blessing which the humankind received was that the drought, which was going on was removed.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>That year there were such rains and such greenery and verdure that this year came to be called as the &quot;Year of Happiness&quot;.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span lang="AR-SA" dir="RTL">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;">When the previous Ummah denied the Truth, the wrath of Allah Ta'ala descended on them and they were wiped out from the slate of existence, but because of the presence of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), Allah Ta'ala has protected us from such wrath.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>When the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) was troubled when He went to Taif for spreading the message of Islam, the people of Taif hurt Him and His blessed feet were bleeding.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>The angel of the mountains came to Him and said: O Prophet of Allah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)! Allah Ta'ala has sent me to you.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>If you permit me, I will overturn the mountains on them.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>But the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: No! I have been sent as Mercy, not as somebody who curses.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>I have hope in the mercy of Allah Ta'ala that He will bring such people in their descendants who will worship Him and will not ascribe any partner to Him.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span lang="AR-SA" dir="RTL">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;">When anyone gains power, that person does not allow his/her opponents to rest and whole scale massacres are performed, but the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) gave the absolute right of life to His enemies also.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>The propaganda that Islam does not bear those who don&rsquo;t follow it has no relation with truth.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) is absolute mercy and His teachings are also absolute mercy.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span lang="AR-SA" dir="RTL">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;">Islam gives the basic, inalienable rights of life to every person no matter what religion, class or race that person belongs to.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>Islam does not allow discrimination even on the basis of religion.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>Islam has been the upholder of human rights even in the age when the whole world was steeped in darkness and there was no concept of human rights.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>Before the Treaty of Hudaibiyah, Muslims numbered thousands, but by the Hujjatul Wada'a, it had increased beyond 1 lakh.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span lang="AR-SA" dir="RTL">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;">Islam did not spread so much in times of war that it spread in times of peace and this is the truth that Islam did not spread through the sword (or force), but through the character of the Muslims.</p>
