<span style="font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> </span></span> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span style="font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">The very presence of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) is a great ni'mah of Allah Ta'ala for us. Before His coming, ignorance was the norm. People were stuck in the mire of disbelief, ascribing partners to Allah Ta'ala and having blind beliefs. They were deeply involved in nudity and indecency. Oppression and exploitation of others was rampant. In short, the whole society was plagued with evils. </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span style="font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span style="font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">At this time, to remove the people from the darkness of Kufr and Shirk (disbelief and polytheism), to raise them from the abyss of dishonor to the summits of honor, to dispel the darkness of ignorance and light the fire of ‘Irfan (knowledge of Allah Ta'ala) and to illuminate the whole world, Allah Ta'ala sent Hadhrat Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) with the mantle of Prophethood and has declared His presence to be a great bounty of Allah Ta'ala (Ni'mah Kubra). Allah Ta'ala says:</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span style="font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span style="font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Indeed Allah conferred a great favour on the believers that He raised among them (the most eminent) Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him) from among themselves who recites to them His Revelations, purifies them and educates them on the Book and Wisdom though, before that, they were in manifest error. (Surah Al Imran, 3:164)</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span style="font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span style="font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">These are the words of Mufti Syed Ziauddin Naqshbandi Qadri, Professor of Islamic Law, Jamia Nizamia and Founder/Director, Abul Hasanaat Islamic Research Center in the weekly lecture series at Masjid Abul Hasanaat, Jahanuma, Hyderabad.</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span style="font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span style="font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Mufti Sahab said that Allah Ta'ala has made the Prophethood of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) universal. He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) is not a Prophet for any particular nation, but is the Guide for the whole creation. Allah Ta'ala says:</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span style="font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span style="font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Blessed is He (Allah) Who sent down to His (most beloved and most intimate) servant the Criterion (the Qur’an) that (draws the difference between right and wrong and) gives judgment in order that he may be a Warner to all the worlds; (Surah Furqan, 25:1)</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span style="font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span style="font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Mufti Sahab said that the message of the Prophethood of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) covers all aspects of human life. His message gives comfort to all sections of the society and is beneficial of all. After He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) came, those who worshipped idols started worshipping the True Lord, Allah Ta'ala. He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) safeguarded human values, granted the weak their rights, freed humanity from the chains of oppression and barbarity and gave people the right to lead a free life. He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) turned those who were committing gross indecencies into exemplary models of conduct and etiquette. He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) ended the reign of terror and barbarity and spread peace and security. He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) prayed for the guidance of even those who had spread thorns in His path. He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) gave a bloodthirsty nation such a lesson of love that avowed enemies became brothers. This great favor of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) is mentioned in Surah Al Imran:</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span style="font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span style="font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">But call to mind the blessing of Allah upon you when you were enemies (one to another). Then He created the bond of love among your hearts, and by His blessing you became brothers. And you (had reached) the brink of a pit of Fire (of Hell) but He rescued you from it. That is how Allah elaborates His Signs to you so that you may take guidance to the right path. (Surah Ale Imran, 3:103)</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span style="font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span style="font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Mufti Sahab said that before declaring Prophethood, the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) had spent 40 years in Makkah. With His blessed life, His high morals, His fair dealings, His flawless character and His honesty and veracity, even the non-Muslims would accept Him as "Sadiq" the truthful and "Ameen," the trustworthy.</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span style="font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span style="font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Mufti Sahab said that the world should be made aware of these pure teachings of Islam. The non-Muslims should be made aware of each and every clause of the Shariah. All those who consider this message without any prejudice cannot resist accepting it. </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span style="font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;"><span style="font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">A large number of people attended the lecture and it ended with Salaam and Dua.
