The father of Hadhrat Bahr Ul Uloom (Lit. Ocean of knowledge), Hadhrat Shah Muhammad Abdul Qadir Siddiqui (May Allah shower His mercy on him) was a native of Gujarat. Through 23 generations, he is a descendant of Hadhrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (May Allah be well pleased with him)<br /> <br /> <span style="font-size: 14px;"><i><b>His birth</b></i></span><br /> <br /> Hadhrat Bahr Ul Uloom Hadhrat Abdul Qadeer Siddiqui (May Allah shower His mercy on him) was born on 27th Rajab 1288 Hijri, Friday at 11 AM.<br /> <br /> His Kunniyah is "Abul Abbas" and his pen name is "Hasrat"<br /> <br /> He is a descendant of Hadhrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (May Allah be well pleased with him) through 28 generations through his father and he is a descendant of Hadhrat Imam Hussain (May Allah be well pleased with him) through 32 generations through his mother.<br /> <br /> <br /> <span style="font-size: 14px;"><b>His education</b></span><br /> <br /> He studied Sahih Bukhari under 3 teachers, Hadhrat Ilahi Bakhshi Azeemabadi, Hadhrat Muhammad Hashim, Hadhrat Shaykh Abdul Qadir, May Allah shower His mercy on all of them.<br /> <br /> The chain of authority of all these 3 teachers reaches Hadhrat Shaykh Ahmed Bin Abdul Raheem Shah Waliullah Muhaddith Dehlwi (May Allah shower His mercy on him).<br /> <br /> He received the chain of authority of Sahih Muslim, Jame' Tirmidhi, Sunan Abu Dawood, Sunan Ibn Majah, Sunan Sughra Lin Nasai and Muwatta Imam Malik from Hadhrat Shaykh Abu Tahir (May Allah shower His mercy on him).<br /> <br /> Haj and journey to other sacred places<br /> <br /> He acquired the honor of Haj and visting the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) in 1345 Hijri. After the Haj, he also journeyed to Baghdad, Iraq, Syria and Palestine.<br /> <br /> When he paid his respects to Hadhrat Ghouse-Ul-Azam (May Allah be well pleased with him), he recited the following couplets:<br /> <br /> Translation:<br /> <br /> The joy of the heart of Mustafa is Ghouse-E-Azam,<br /> <br /> A ray of the Noor of Allah Ta'ala (i.e. the Holy Prophet) is Ghouse-E-Azam<br /> <br /> The heads of the saints are under your feet<br /> <br /> So great is your status O Ghouse-E-Azam<br /> <br /> After this, he paid his respects to Hadhrat Ameer Muawiya (May Allah be well pleased with him) in Damascus.<br /> <br /> <br /> <span style="font-size: 14px;"><i><b>His passing away:</b></i></span><br /> <br /> At the time of his passing away, Dr. Zia was present. He said: Hadhrat! May Allah protect you. You please supplicate to Allah Ta'ala to take any of us in your place. We are ready to sacrifice our lives for you. Your staying here is necessary. On this, Hadhrat said in a weak voice: You live. I am going. He checked his own pulse and said: Now the pulse is gone. He gestured "Khuda Hafidh" to his family with his hand. His face became very radiant and a radiance came from his eyes. He closed his eyes with the words:<br /> <br /> Sallallahu Alaika Ya Rasulallah Wa Aalihi Wa Sahbihi Wa Sallim. <br /> <br /> He had raised his index finger (Shahadat Ki Ungli in Urdu).<br /> <br /> He passed awayon Shawwal 17 and on 18th, his sons and representatives (Khulafa) had the honor of giving him the funeral bath.<br /> <br /> His Funeral Salaat was offered in Makkah Masjid and the son of his Shaykh (spiritual mentor), Maulana Syed Muhammad Baqir Hussaini, who was also his eldest son-in-law led the Salaat.<br /> <br /> <span style="font-size: 14px;"><i><b>His teachings:</b></i></span><br /> <br /> Allah Ta'ala is Noor and whoever is heedless of Him is indeed in darkness.<br /> <br /> Heedlessness (Ghaflat in Urdu) is spiritual filth. The Lord Almighty and His close friends dislike it.<br /> <br /> Tauba (repentance) has 3 conditions. (1) Regret on the past. (2) A firm resolve to not go against the will of the Lord Almighty.
