<!--{12851777596620}--><!--{12851777596621}--><!--{12851777596622}--> <p class="MsoNormal">The <i style="">Ghazwa </i>(battle in which the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi w sallam) took part) Uhud took place in 3rd Hijri.<span style=""> </span>Uhud is the name of a mountain in Madina Taiyaba about which the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi Wa sallam) said:</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">Translation of Hadith: Uhud is the mountain, which loves me and I love it.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">(Sahih Bukhari, Vol.<span style=""> </span>No: 2, Pg.<span style=""> </span>No: 585)</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">This Hadith is present in Sahih Bukhari, Sunan Abu Dawood, Jami Tirmidhi, Musnad Imam Ahmed, Musannaf Abdur Razzaq, Sahih Ibn Hibban, Sunan E Kubra Lin Nasai, Sharh Ul Sunnah, whose context, translation and references are being mentioned.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Anas (May Allah Ta’ala be well pleased with him) that when the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi Wa sallam) went to Uhud mountain, Hadhrat Abu Bakr Siddique (May Allah Ta’ala be well pleased with him), Hadhrat Umar Farooq (May Allah Ta’ala be well pleased with him) and Hadhrat Uthman (May Allah Ta’ala be well pleased with him), on their arrival, the mountain itself started swaying. <span style=""> </span>The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi Wa sallam) it tapped it with his feet and said:</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">Oh Uhud! Stop swaying.<span style=""> </span>There is a Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi Wa sallam), one Siddique and two Shaheed (Martyrs) on you.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">(Sahih Bukhari, Vol.<span style=""> </span>No: 1, Pg.<span style=""> </span>No: 519, Hadith No: 3675)</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">(Sunan Abu Dawood, Hadith No: 4032)</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">(Jami Tirmidhi, Vol.<span style=""> </span>No: 2, Pg.<span style=""> </span>No: 210, Hadith No: 3630)</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">(Musnad Imam Ahmed, Hadith No: 21745)</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">(Musannaf Abdur Razzaq, Vol.<span style=""> </span>No: 11, Pg.<span style=""> </span>No: 229, Hadith No: 20401)</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">(Sahih Ibn Hibban, Hadith No: 90885)</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">(Sunan E Kubra Lin Nasai, Vol.<span style=""> </span>No: 5, Pg.<span style=""> </span>No: 43, Hadith No: 8135)</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">(Mojam-e-Kabeer Tabarani, Hadith No: 144)</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">(Sharh Ul Sunnah, Vol.<span style=""> </span>No: 1, Pg.<span style=""> </span>No: 932)</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">By the blessings of the feet of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi Wa sallam) and after listening to His words from, Uhud felt contented and stopped</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">The battle of Uhud took place at the foot of the same mountain.<span style=""> </span>The total number of Muslim soldiers was 700 hundred, among which the armored Sahaba [companions of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) were just 100 in number.<span style=""> </span>The army of Quraish consisted of 3000 soldiers, among which 700 were armored soldiers.<span style=""> </span>The total number of Sahaba (May Allah Ta’ala be well pleased with them) who were martyred were 70 whereas 30 persons from the group of followers of Falsehood were killed to dwell forever in the Hell.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal"><b style="">Passionate belief (Imaan) of an Ansari Sahabiya (lady companion)</b></p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">The hypocrites spread the rumor that the Holy Prophet is martyred.<span style=""> </span>An Ansari Sahabiya (May Allah Ta’ala be well pleased with her) started advancing towards Uhud from Madina.<span style=""> </span>On the way, someone informed her of the martyrdom of her father.<span style=""> </span>In reply, she said:<span style=""> </span>First I want to see how the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) is."<span style=""> </span>Again she was informed about the martyrdom of her brother and husband.<span style=""> </span>Each time, she just inquired about the health of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam).<span style=""> </span>When she was informed that the Holy Prophet is fine, she said: <span style=""> </span>Let me have a glimpse of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi Wa sallam).<span style=""> </span><span style=""> </span>After she had had the opportunity of seeing Him (Sallallahu alaihi Wa sallam), she (May Allah Ta’ala be well pleased with her) expressed her contentment and said: Oh Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi Wa sallam)! If you are well and fine then every difficulty is painless.</p>
