For e.g. in Sunan Abu Dawood, there is a Hadith:

Translation of Hadith: Hadhrat Ibn Amir (May Allah be well pleased with him) said: The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) ordered me to recite the Surah Falaq and Surah Nas after every Salaat.
(Sunan Abu Dawood, Hadith No: 1525).

Then is it that the order to recite these Surah is only for Ibn Aamir (May Allah be well pleased with him)? No it is for every person of the Ummah.

There is another Hadith in Sunan Nasai:

Translation of Hadith: It has been narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Umme Shareek (May Allah be well pleased with her) that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) ordered me to kill chameleons.
(Sunan Nasai, Hadith No: 2885).

Is this command only for her? No it is a general order.

There is a Hadith in Jame' Tirmidhi:

Translation of Hadith: It has been narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Zaid Bin Thabit (May Allah be well pleased with him), he said: The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) ordered me to learn Hebrew.
(Jame' Tirmidhi, Hadith No: 2933).

Now, does it mean that the order for learning different languages is only for Hadhrat Zaid? No! It is or everybody.
