The blessed names of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)

  

Almighty Allah created human beings from clay and water and blew His radiant soul into it.  Then the abilities of human beings were revealed to their maximum.  A great station Ahsani Taqweem was appointed which was worthy of the vision of the attributes and being (Dhaat) of Almighty Allah. “When I desired that I be known” is their greatness.  “That’s why I created the creation” is their honor.

 

The ‘Arsh is on Áab-e-Hayaat.  The Ka’aba is on Zam Zam.  Bait Ul Ma’amoor is on Kauthar. 

 

“Ahmed,” Muhammad,” “Mahmood” (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), the names of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) weren’t the names of anyone from the very beginning of the creation. Almighty Allah had kept these names for the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam).

 

This is also a sign of the high status of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) that Almighty Allah has given Him such names that weren’t given to anybody before Him.  These blessed names were safeguarded so that no one else should be given these names.  These blessed names:  Ahmed, Muhammad, Hamid, Mahmood (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) have great signs of Him.

 

Almighty Allah says:  By my majesty and honor!  I will not cast such a person in hell whose name is on your name.

 

In one Hadith, the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) has said:  Such a table (Dastarkhwaan) on which after setting it, a person whose name is “Ahmed” or “Muhammad” (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) and in another Hadith, the words are, on which my namesake eats, by the order of Allah Most High, the house in which this table has been set, angels clean it and bless it twice a day.

 

It is mentioned in Kitab Ush Shifa Fi Huqooqil Mustafa that there are some angels of Allah Most High whose only work is to guard those houses in which there is somebody named, “Muhammad”.

 

There is a Hadith that if some people gather for discussion and advice and there is someone with the names of “Muhammad” or “Ahmed” in them and he is also included in the discussion, then there will good will come of that thing about which they were discussing.

 

Allah’s mercy and blessings will descend on the house in which there is someone named, “Muhammad.”  The excellence of these blessed names is unfathomable.  Here, for the sake of blessings, a few have been mentioned.
