Hadhrat Muhaddith-E-Deccan (May Allah SWT shower His Mercy on him) Embodiment of Shariah and Tareeqa

There are 2 groups for the preservation and propagation of Islam- The ‘Ulama who preserve the Shariah and the Auliya who reform the souls of the people. Hadhrat Muhaddith-E-Deccan (May Allah SWT shower His Mercy on him) is an Imam in both Shariah and Tareeqa.

In the lecture organized by Abul Hasanaat Islamic Research Center, Maulana Mufti Syed Ziauddin Naqshbandi Quadri expressed the following views. This lecture was presided over by Hadhrat Abul Khair Syed Rahmatullah Shah Naqshbandi Mujaddidi Quadri (May Allah SWT protect him), the last son and present successor of Hadhrat Muhaddith-E-Deccan (May Allah SWT shower His Mercy on him).

In his lecture Mufti Sahab said that Hadhrat Muhaddith-E-Deccan (May Allah SWT shower His Mercy on him) is a masterly Mufassir of the Holy Quran, a high-ranking Faqih (jurisprudent) and a great Muhaddith.

Mufti Sahab described the great work done by Hadhrat Muhaddith-E-Deccan (May Allah SWT shower His Mercy on him) and said that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said a special prayer for the Muhadditheen. He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: O Allah SWT! Have mercy on My deputies.” When asked as to who are His deputies, the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: Those who narrate My Hadith and acquaint people with it.

Hadhrat Mufti Sahab also said that Hadhrat Muhaddith-E-Deccan (May Allah SWT shower His Mercy on him) is Hasani as well as Hussaini. His Tareeqa is Jame Us Salasil (Which combines all other Tareeqa). Hadhrat Muhaddith-E-Deccan (May Allah SWT shower His Mercy on him) used to initiate disciples into the Qadri and Naqshbandi Tareeqa and used to instruct them to remain steadfast on the award and wazaaif given to the mureed. Mufti Sahab said that all the Schools of Fiqh and all the Tareeqa of Tasawwuf have some peripheral differences, in their essence all of them are the same. All of us should respect and love every Tareeqa and school of Fiqh for the sake of Allah SWT.
Hadhrat Muhaddith-E-Deccan (May Allah SWT shower His Mercy on him) was born on 10th Dhul Hijjah1292 Hijri on Friday. He (May Allah SWT shower His Mercy on him) would be so punctual about Sunnah that not even one Sunnah would be missed. Through the blessings of the Sunnah, he (May Allah SWT shower His Mercy on him) recited the same words at the time of his passing away, which the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) had said at the time of His passing away into the presence of Allah SWT.

After the passing away of Hadhrat Muhaddith-E-Deccan (May Allah SWT shower His Mercy on him) into the presence of Allah SWT, his eldest son Hadhrat Abul Barakaat Khaleelullah Shah (May Allah SWT shower His Mercy on him) carried on the mission of his father. Through his blessings and teaching, thousands of hearts started reverberating with the dhikr of Allah SWT. After his passing away, his son Hadhrat Abul Khairaat Hadhrat Anwarullah Shah Sahab (May Allah SWT shower His Mercy on him) carried on the mission of his father and paved the way for the success and progress of the community and the Ummah. He founded a school where the students would be adorned with both religious and worldly education.

The lecture ended with the truly moving prayer of Hadhrat Rahmatullah Shah Sahab (May Allah SWT protect him). Hadhrat Hafeezur Rahman, the son-in-law of Hadhrat Abul Khair also graced the occasion with his presence.
