It is narrated in Khasaais-e-Kubra on the authority of Imran Bin Hussain (May Allah be well pleased with him), he says: I was with the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) that Hadhrat Fatima (May Allah be well pleased with her) came and stood before him. Her face was very pale. The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) understood from her face that extreme hunger was the reason for this. The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) placed His blessed hand on her neck, spread His fingers and prayed: O Allah! You are the One who satiates the hungry and raises the lowly. Raise Fatima bint Muhammad (May Allah be well pleased with him). Imran says: Immediately, the signs of hunger disappeared from her face. After many days, when I asked Hadhrat Fatima (May Allah be well pleased with her) about this, she said: After that day, I have never felt the pangs of hunger.
This incident is of the period when the rules of Hijab were not yet revealed.
This Hadith shows how the kinsfolk of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) would lead their lives. It is obvious that Hadhrat Fatima (May Allah be well pleased with her) had been starving for many days, that is why her face had paled to such an extent. In spite of them, she never complained that we are facing such starvation and you disburse treasures upon treasures from which strangers benefit. These are the divine personages.
Here, this is also to be noticed that placing the hand only once sufficed for the whole life. These kinds of things are only by divine power, human effort has no part in this. This was done through the blessed hand of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). Thus by this, we can say that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) is the manifestation of the power of Allah.
Splitting the moon into 2 and ordering about the material and spiritual worlds is through divine power only. Those who are not aware of this have to face many difficulties. They say that if we accept the power of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), then it will be Shirk associating partners with Allah. For this reason, they flat out deny the miracles of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). In the past the Mu’tazila developed these kinds of principles. However, the Ahle Sunnah do accept the miracles. Thus, it is because of this majority group that we have received the knowledge of these miracles. If they had stopped recording these miracles by declaring those Hadith as fabricated, we would not have known about them. All those people who claimed Prophethood in the past knew that unless and until Muslims saw miracles, they would believe in them. That’s why they would worry about miracles and even showed some sleight of hand as well, because of which some people would become devoted to them. However, the majority would refute them. Mirza Ghulam Qadiani flat out denied their existence and declared those Hadith as fabricated, so that this question should not be raised at all.
It is given in Khasaais-e-Kubra on the authority of Khuzaima (May Allah be well pleased with him) that he presented himself to the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) and embraced Islam. The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) caressed his face with His hands. The result of this was that until his death, his face remained fresh, meaning the ravages of the old age did not affect his face at all. In other words, the youth of his face remained intact because of the effect of His blessed hand. This effect is a spiritual effect. Otherwise it cannot be that effects of the passage of time stop. Here, we don’t understand why the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) did this immediately after Hadhrat Khuzaima (May Allah be well pleased with him) embraced Islam but we can say that there had to be some secret because of which the face had to remain fresh forever.
