In his address in Nizambad, Mufti Syed Ziauddin Naqshbandi Qadri (May Allah protect him) that before the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), in the era of ignorance, every imaginable kind of evil was included in culture, immodesty, alcoholism and what not. Girls were buried alive. The year when the Leader of all Prophets (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) graced this world with his presence, Allah SWT made it so that no house in this world should have a baby girl. This was not because girls are inauspicious or unlucky, but because when a girl was born, she was regarded as a blemish and frowned upon. Sooner or later, she would be buried alive. Stakes would be driven in the heart of the mother and the girl herself would die crying and wailing. Allah SWT did not like that in the year of the Milad of His Beloved, any innocent should be killed or that any mother should cry for her daughter. So, he made it so that year every house was blessed with a baby boy. When even non-Muslims were kept happy for the sake of the holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), then how wrong it is for Muslims to not to be happy on the Milad of the holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam).
In his address at President function plaza at Nizambad, Mufti spoke for nearly 3 hours. He said that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) has ordered us to be affectionate towards girls. But we do not do so and instead consider them as a burden. Some people go to the extent of aborting the child, when they find out that it is a girl. These people are much more ignorant than the pre-Islamic people. The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) has given glad tidings to those parents who raise their girls in the best manner and then marry them off. Those who demand dowry should stop doing so to make things easier for everybody.
The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) has taught us to be selfless and full of Ikhlas in every thing that we do. Our elders have taught us to behave courteously wven with non-Muslims. In the presence of Hadhrat Khaja Bandanawaz rahma, somebody used a derogatory term for a non-Muslim. The Khaja expressed his displeasure. That Muslim said: O khaja, that person is a non-Muslim. The khaja said with anger in his voice: But you are a Muslim, you should talk politely. He is a human being even though he is not a Muslim. This was the character which made non-Muslims embrace Islam wholeheartedly. Mufti sahib said that if we should follow the holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) with love and proper reverence, we will be successful in both worlds. This address was organized by Mir Zahid Ali Khan, Advocate, Mohd. Sadiq Ali and his friends. Maulana Hafidh Muhammad Amanullah Sahib, Kamil, Jamia Nizamia recited the Holy Quran to begin the address and Mohd. Sadiq Ali had the honor of reciting Na’at. Shaykh Ahmed Mohiuddin Rafe’e, Fadhil Jamia Nizamia took up the responsibilities.
