Company of Thalaheen (pious persons) protects human beings from the evil artifices of Satan (devil)
Speech delivered by Mufakkir-e-Islam, Hadhrat Maulana Mufti Khaleel Ahmed Sahab in Jeddah
Satan is an eternal enemy of mankind. He ever tries to deviate, human beings from the straight path. At each moment, he snares at human beings for preventing them to worship and be obedient to Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala). It is difficult for each and every human being to acquaint the wicked tricks used by him, since he uses various tactics to astray them. He deceives scholars through their knowledge, and common man through the regular methods. Hence Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) said:
Translation: Indeed Satan is your foe so you too treat him as foe. (Surah Fatir: 6)
These were the valuable facts disclosed by the Mufakkir-e-Islam, Hadhrat Allama Maulana Mufti Khaleel Ahmed Sahab (Shaikh ul Jami Nizamia) at the gathering that took place at the house of respectable Muhammad Khalid Qadri Sahab.
Continuing his speech, he further said that the wicked tricks and power of Satan do not act on the Thalaheen and Hon'ble Auliya (Friends of Allah SWT). The same was confessed by Satan in the presence of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala). "Certainly I will astray the whole progeny of Adam (Alaihis salaam) except those of Your slaves who are Mukhlisun (sincere). (Surah Hijr: 40)
Therefore, Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) ordered the Mo'mineen (believers) to embrace the company of Thalaheen. As stated by Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala): "O the believers! Be fearful of Allah SWT and accompany the truthful." (Surah Tauba: 120)
During his speech he said, the advantage of embracing the company of Thalaheen not only safeguards mankind from the evil tricks of Satan but simultaneously the blessed company of Auliya Allah SWT creates the quality of Thalihiyat (piousness) in them. He too becomes a strong worshipper of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) by looking at their day to day worship.
