Hadhrat Syed Shah Sa’eeduddin Al Rifaa’i (May Allah shower His Mercy on him)
Hadhrat Syed Shah Sa’eeduddin al Rifaa’i (May Allah shower His Mercy on him), who is famously known as Haji Sayyah Sarwar, is one of the elders of the Rifa’i family. It is said that he is from the progeny of Hadhrat Ahmad bin Kabeer Rifa’i. His family is known as Sarwaria after him.
He toured many places in the Arab and non-Arab countries and eventually reached Delhi. There, he met Hadhrat Khaja Nizamuddin Auliya (May Allah shower His Mercy on him), who lodged him in his Khanqah with all honor for 9 months. After that period, Hadhrat Nizamuddin Auliya (May Allah shower His Mercy on him) passed away. He participated in the enshrouding and burial of the Khaja.
Many miracles were expressed at his hands. He has authored a book on Tasawwuf which is a gift to the Seekers. Especially, he has written about the Salaat of the saints. The very mention of such a Salaat is enough to develop a spiritual state.
He also had children. Some of them reside near his shrine and serve it. Some of them reside in Nanded. They spread the Rifa’i Sufi order in Deccan. After this, Rifa’i also came to called as the Sarwari order.
Hadhrat Syed Shah Ziauddin Biyabani (May Allah shower His Mercy on him)
Many miracles were expressed at his hands. He engaged in rigorous worship of Allah Most High in Multan. He received the Rifa’i order from his forefathers.
Apart from Rifa’i, he also had authorizations in Qadri, Chishti, Suharwardi and Naqshbandi orders as well. He has authored the books Matloob Ut Talibeen and Bahr Ul Ansaab. The sister of Hadhrat Saandge Sultan (May Allah shower His Mercy on him) was his wife.
By the order of his illustrious father, the son of Hadhrat Sultan Saangde gave his pledge to Hadhrat Ziauddin (May Allah shower His Mercy on them) and received his authorization also from him.
