Who is a man of perfect faith?

 

A man of perfect faith treats his wife with kindness and benevolence

 

It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be well pleased with him), he says that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said:  Among those who believe, the best in terms of perfection of faith is the one whose manners and etiquette are the best.

 

The best among you are those who treat their wives the best (with gentleness).

 

This is related by Tirmidhi.  Tirmidhi has said that this Hadith is fairly authenticated.  Abu Dawood has also related this Hadith partly (the first part)

 

A man of perfect faith is the one who treats his family and everyone else with benevolence

 

It is narrated on the authority of the mother of the believers Hadhrat ‘Aisha Siddiqua (May Allah be well pleased with her) that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said:

 

Among those have faith, the best, in terms of perfection of faith, is the one who treats everyone (generally) with kindness and benevolence and is especially benevolent towards his wife and children.

 

This is related by Tirmidhi.
