2-day celebrations at Jamia Nizamia

In the great center of Islamic learning of the subcontinent, Jamia Nizamia, 2-day celebrations have been organized on the occasion of the Urs of Hadhrat Shaykh Ul Islam Imam Muhammad Anwarullah Farooqui. On May 24, 2009, a seminar on the topic Islam and Terrorism is being organized, in which the Shuyukh will advise the audience on the following topics:

Terrorism and the responsibilities of the Ulama

Terrorism. How to stop it?

Terrorism and the responsibilities of the Madarsa

Terrorism and the responsibilities of the parents

On 29th Jamadi Ul Awwal, May 25, 2009, the Urs Shareef of Hadhrat Shaykh Ul Islam and the annual convocation of Jamia Nizamia is being organized. After the ‘Asr Salaat, the Holy Quran will be recited, then flowers will be placed on the blessed grave of Hadhrat Shaykh Ul Islam. After Maghrib, the convocation will start in the grounds of the Jamia. The convocation will start with the recitation of the Holy Quran and the Naat of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). The students of Jamia Nizamia will deliver speeches in Urdu and English. Hadhrat Mufti Khaleel Ahmad, the rector of Jamia Nizamia will give the welcome address and present the annual report. Then the chief guest will distribute the gold medal.

 

In this great convocation, 37 Kamil-Ul-Hadith, 6 Kamil-Ul-Fiqh, 177 Fadhileen (including 9 girls), 110 A’alim, 84, Maulvi and 221 Hafidh (including 52 girls) will be awarded their degrees.

On May 26, 2009, Tuesday, the students of Jamia Nizamia are organizing a Naatiya Mushaira (poetry meet in Praise of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)). The secretary of Jamia Nizamia has extended his cordial invitation.
