Books by Hadhrat Shaykh Ul Islam Imam Muhammad Anwaarullah Farooqui (May Allah shower His Mercy on him)
Hadhrat Shaykh Ul Islam authored many books for the benefit of Muslims. Each book is in a class of its own. Most of his books are what the then situation demanded and demand the attention of Muslims even today. Below is a very small introduction of his books.
Anwaar – e – Ahmadi
This book deals with the superiority and excellence of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). Other topics dealt with are the benefits of sending Durood on the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), the respect and reverence of the Sahabah and the Auliya. Every Muslim ought to read this book.
Maqaasid Ul Islam
This book is in eleven volumes. Each volume deals with different topics.
1st Volume: Culture, etiquette and Kalaam.
2nd Volume: Deals with miracles of the Prophets and saints and it also has a clear and logical refutation of Ghulam Qadiani.
3rd Volume: Deals with the creation of Hadhrat Adam (peace be upon him), the gnosis (Ma’arifat) of Allah, Soul, Tasawwuf and other topics
4th Volume: Knowledge, the superiority of scholars and logical answers to the objections against Islam
5th Volume: Why worship is necessary, reward and punishment, paradise and hell, the family of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), the Caliphate of the first 4 caliphs.
6th Volume: The history of strife and rebellion in Islam, acquiring sainthood (Wilaayah), piety and the issue of freewill and predetermination.
7th Volume: The wonders of the human body, the kinds of divine revelation, the punishment of the grave and other topics.
8th Volume: The reformation of culture, faith, Islam and Satanic whispers (waswasa).
9th Volume: The miracles of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), the nature of love and opposition, why love is necessary, this material world, idol worship and other topics.
10th Volume: The perfection of faith in Hadhrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (May Allah be well pleased with him), the Justice of Hadhrat ‘Umar (May Allah be well pleased with him), the patience and perseverance of Hadhrat Khalid bin Walid, the call of Ya Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) and other topics.
11th Volume: The beliefs of the Wahhabis, exegesis of Allahu noorus samaawati wasl ardh, why following Companions is necessary and other topics.
Haqeeqatul Fiqh
This book is in 2 volumes. It has an extremely detailed explanation on Hadith, Fiqh and Ijtihad (Juristic and legal reasoning). The superiority of Imam A’adham Abu Hanifa (May Allah be well pleased with him) is also detailed in many places and in many ways.
Kitaab Ul Aql
The importance and superiority of the intellect (Aql), the limits as to which the intellect can be used in matters of religion, satisfying replies to the objections against religion both by ancient and modern philosophers.
Ifaadatul Afhaam
A reply to Mirza Ghulam Qadiani’s Izaalatul Auhaam. This is a looking glass for the religion followed by the Qadianis in which its features and characteristics become clear. Many have used this book as reference in refuting Qadianis.
Anwaarul Haqq
A refutation of Mirza Qadiani and the Wahhabis.
Reading and in-depth study of these books is necessary for every Muslim to develop a deeper understanding of Islam and the beliefs of the Ahle Sunnah.
