The radiance of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) in Hadhrat Amina (May Allah be well pleased with her) - (III)

[The first part of this article ran here and the second here.  This is the third part]

Each house was illuminated with radiance.  The animals of the east were congratulating the animals of the west and the animals of the west were congratulating the animals of the east that the Final Prophet has come into the womb of His mother.  By the Lord of the Ka’aba!  This Prophet will arrive with such grandeur that He will be the Imam of all Prophets.  He will be (divine) lamp to enlighten the hearts of all people of the world.

Hadhrat Amina (May Allah be well pleased with her) says that she was part asleep and partly awake, she heard someone say:  Amina!  Do you know that you are pregnant with the One who is better than the whole world?

Hadhrat Amina (May Allah be well pleased with her) says:

When the angels came and informed me, I understood that I was pregnant.  Every month, a call would be given from the heavens and the earth:  O Amina!  Glad tidings be to you.  Now, Abul Qasim Hadhrat Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) is going to be born of your womb.

Hadhrat Amina (May Allah be well pleased with her) says that every month a Prophet would visit her.

She would often see in her pregnancy:

A radiance issuing from me and the whole world being illuminated by it.  In that illumination, I would see the city of Basra in Syria.

When the father of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) passed away before His birth, all the angels entreated the Lord Almighty:  O our Lord Allah!  Your Beloved, Your Prophet has become an orphan before being born.  Now how will He fare?  Almighty Allah said:  I, who have the affection of more than a 100 fathers, will be the protector and guardian and will help Him all the time.

At the time of the birth of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), the season was spring (Rab’ee).  The reason of the birth of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) in this season is that He is the sign of the Day of Judgment.

With the birth of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), it was understood that the Day of Judgment will come.  That’s why it is mentioned in the Hadith that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) joined His index finger and middle finger and said:  The Day of Judgment is after me like this.  After me, no Prophet will come.

The way travelers traveling in the night often look up to see when the moon will rise and illuminate their path, in the same way, the whole world was staring with their eyes bulged that when that time will come when the radiance of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) will shine from the mountains of Makkah.

When the moon is about to rise, the edges of the horizon are illuminated.  The moon for Rab’ee Ul Awwal has been sighted.  The whole world is shining.  It is spring.  It is the Year of the Elephants i.e. the year in which Abraha and his army were destroyed.  It is the month of Rab’ee Ul Awwal.  Now the time of the birth of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) is at hand.

O month of Rab’ee Ul Awwal.  Millions of people have come and gone.  You have remained the same.  Tell the truth, how was that 12th night of yours?  The damsels of paradise had arrived.  The rest had opened the windows of paradise and were celebrating.  The ‘Arsh was swaying in sheer happiness.  The whole world was dancing in joy.  The angels of the seven heavens were celebrating.  Leave all the rest, even Almighty Allah was casting a special radiance on His slaves.
