Sexual assault - Islamic teachings are the only way out

Islam is truly a complete way of life.  The code of life brought by the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) the principles described by Him are equally beneficial for the whole of humanity.

The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) granted humanity the crown of majesty and grace.  He gave humanity the robe of modesty and chastity and made them bearers of pure characters and high morals.  The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) gave humanity such an elegant culture and sophisticated civilization that people from other faiths and philosophies also admit this freely.  It is truly regrettable that nowadays Muslims are abandoning their Islamic culture and are becoming blind followers of western libertine culture.  They are giving up their culture and following the customs of falsehood and are obeying their own desires.

Not a day passes when we don’t hear/read of any rape/sexual assault/molestation.  After USA and South Africa, our country has the dubious distinction of “leading the world” in this regard.  As per crime statistics, every 20 minutes a women is raped in our country.  To check all these evils, the only ways out is to follow the timeless teachings of Islam, which order men to lower their gaze and women to cover themselves.

Women should wear a Hijab which fulfils the demands of modesty.  Such a Hijab also saves them from pollution and acts as a deterrent for other crimes like chain snatching, etc.

Islam has prescribed strict punishments for adultery so that out of fear of punishment, no one dares do anything of the sort.

A human being stays away from evil either due to inherent virtuous disposition or out of regard for the afterlife or out of fear of the law.

It is a great favor of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) that He granted virtue to mankind, gave the most complete concept of afterlife and also used strict laws as a means of stopping evil and crime.

It is mentioned in the Hadith that when adultery and usury become rampant in a community, the wrath of Allah Most High descends on them.

After ascribing partners to Almighty Allah, the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) has declared adultery as the worst and gravest sin.

One should refrain from liquor and alcohol as, apart from being impure and unclean, it has also been declared as the mother of all evils.

And Allah knows best.
