The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) - The most perfect example for all creation

To make the benefits of the Shariah lasting and to generalize the blessings of the laws of the Shariah, Allah Most High has declared the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) the best model for all humanity.  The world receives guidance through Him and He is means of guidance of all the human beings, right until the Day of Judgment.

His blessed life is a clear proof of Islam.  Each aspect and each facet of His blessed life is radiant.  It acts as a beacon of guidance for all humankind.  To ignore the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) is to cast oneself into darkness.

The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) gave the lesson of morality to the world in those times when the world was devoid of morals.  To take humanity to its zenith in those ignorant times, Allah Most High sent the Final Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) in Makkah.

He ended disbelief and polytheism.  He safeguarded human values in the era of oppression and injustice.  He put humanity on the path of justice.

The Holy Quran testifies to His high morals:

And assuredly, you are placed high on the Most Glorious and Exalted (seat of) character (i.e., adorned with the Quranic morality and endowed with the character traits of Allah).  Surah Qalam (68:4)

Islam is a religion of love, affection and brotherhood.  Even the non-Muslims accept the morals of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), the transparency of His affairs and dealings, the sweetness of His talk and words and the purity of His character.

He instructed us to return evil with good and ill-treatment with fair treatment.  He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said:  You treat him nicely who breaks off relations with you.  You forgive the one who wrongs you and you grant to the one who deprives you.

When Hadhrat ‘Aisha Siddiqua (May Allah be well pleased with her) was asked about the character of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), she said:  His character is the Holy Quran.

There is a Hadith from Mishkaat Ul Masabeeh and Baihaqui that once the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) took a loan from a Jew.  He came before the agreed time was up and demanded his amount back.  He said:  Unless and until you return the money, I will not allow you to go from here.  The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) remained with him from Salaat Ul Zuhr of one day to the Salaat Ul Fajr of the next.  The Companions started reproaching him for this.  They told the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam):  O Prophet of Allah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)!  A Jew has stopped you?  The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said:  My Lord has prohibited me to oppress any non-Muslim with whom there is an agreement (of peace).

On seeing this exemplary character, that Jew said:  I testify that Allah is One and you are His true Prophet.

He also said:  I had done this only because I had read your excellence in the Torah.  I had seen your blessed countenance.  Now I wanted to see your character.  Indeed, you are the True Prophet.

All Muslims, most of all the youth, should study the life of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) and to illuminate their lives with the Prophetic radiance.
