What Hadhrat 'Abdullah would see

What Hadhrat ‘Abdullah saw:

Father!  When I climb any mountain of Makkah, two lights come out of my back and one goes to the east and one goes to the west.  Then they come and take the shape of a cloud and go towards the sky itself. The sky opens up for this light and this light goes into the sky, then returns after a moment.

Its interpretation

Friends!  Did you see that the spreading of the light from the east to the west is a sign that His religion will spread from the east to the west.

What Hadhrat ‘Abdullah saw:

Father!  Wherever I sit, a voice comes from the earth: Greetings be to you!  O bearer of the radiance of Hadhrat Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)!

Its interpretation

The earth would greet Hadhrat ‘Abdullah with Salaam which means that all the speechless creation and the earth ad the mountains will testify to the Prophethood of the Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) who is going to come.

What Hadhrat ‘Abdullah saw:

Father!  If I sit under a dead tree, it bursts into bloom and casts its shade over me.  If I stand on barren plain, green grass appears over it.  Then, when I leave, the tree, the plain revert back to their previous state.

Its interpretation

The enlivening of dead trees and barren plains suggests that that Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) is going to come now, who will revive dead hearts.

The People of the Book (Jews and Christians) understood by the signs given in their holy books that the Final Prophet will be born of Hadhrat ‘Abdullah and became his enemies.  They wanted to kill him somehow, but they would see strange and wondrous happenings and would return.
