Unfortunate demise of Hadhrat Abul Khair

Abul Khair Hadhrat Syed Rahmatullah Shah Naqshbandi Mujaddidi Qadri (May Allah shower His mercy on him) passed away into the presence of Allah at the age of 80.  His death let loose an outpouring of sorrow among the Muslims.

He was the youngest son and caliph of the great Muhaddith and Faqih, Abul Hasanaat Hadhrat Syed Abdullah Shah Naqshbandi Mujaddidi Qadri and the youngest brother of the great Sufi Abul Barakaat Hadhrat Syed Khaleelullah Shah Naqshbandi Mujaddidi Qadri.  He is the descendent of Hadhrat Ali (May Allah be well pleased with him) through 46 generations.

Hadhrat Abul Khair was born in a house which was illuminated with the light of Islamic knowledge and sciences.  He grew up under the tutelage of a great saint i.e. Hadhrat Muhaddith-e-Deccan (May Allah shower His mercy on him).  Thus, he himself became a master of the logical and mystical sciences, a personification of high morals, an illustration of all praiseworthy attributes, a great Sufi and an embodiment of Shariah and Tariqah.

He became the Sajjada Nasheen in 1425 Hijri after the demise of Abul Khairaat Hadhrat Syed Anwarullah Shah Naqshbandi Mujaddidi Qadri (May Allah shower His mercy on him).  His favors on the Ummah in terms of the reformation of the populace and spread of Tasawwuf are too great to be enumerated.  The Ummah can never forget or ignore them.  Innumerable people benefited from Hadhrat Abul Khair.  His disciples are not only in India but are spread out in the whole world.  Many Islamic scholars and Hafidh of the Holy Quran gave their pledge to him.

Hadhrat Abul Khair was a very humble and magnanimous person.  He was a person of few words.  He would speak less but heartwarmingly.

He is survived by 3 sons:  Maulana Dr. Syed Sibghatullah Shah Naqshbandi Mujaddidi Qadri, Maulana Syed Nematullah Shah Naqshbandi Mujaddidi Qadri and Maulana Syed Saadullah Shah Naqshbandi Mujaddidi Qadri, and 4 daughters.

His Salaat Ul Janaazah will be held on Thursday, 29th September, 2011, after Salaat Ul Zuhr at Makka Masjid.  Salaat Ul Zuhr will be at 1:00 PM.
