The stages of the Noor of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)

And (Allah) is He Who has created you from a single soul. Then (for you) there (is) a place of residing and a place of storage (i.e. the mother’s womb and the world or the world and the grave respectively). Surely We have explained the Signs (of Our Power and Might) in detail for the people who understand.  (Surah An'aam-98)

The first, direct, simple meaning of the above verse and in fact, the real meaning of the verse is this:-

That Powerful Lord, who created the whole creation and especially human beings with the Noor of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam).

For this reason, the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) said:

Translation of Hadith:  The first thing that Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) created was my Noor.

When Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) created the Noor of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam), there was nothing except Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) neither Arsh nor the Earth, neither the heavens not the earth.

Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) created first of all the Noor of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam).  Then Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) asked the Noor:

Who are you? The blessed Noor answered: My Lord! I am a slave and you are "Wahhab".

Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) then asked: Define a slave and define Wahhab?

The Noor said: Slave is the one on whom obedience of one's master is compulsory (Wajib), that is me and "Wahhab" is the one who grants whatever He wants to His slave and that is You.

Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) said: Whatever you want, ask for it.  The Noor said: My demand is that you show me with what name should I remember you and how should I worship you?

In whatever, the Lord wanted, directly, He instructed the Noor, that is why Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) says:

And Allah has revealed to you the Book and Wisdom and has bestowed upon you all that knowledge which you did not possess.  Surah Nisa-113

The Noor of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) remained in this solitude as long as Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) wanted it.

After a long time, the Noor said: Lord! Show me how to worship you and make a house for me so that I keep performing your Dhikr and worshipping you.

The Lord created a glass house and named it "Misbah-ul-Izza".  The Noor of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) started living in it.  After this, above that, "Arsh" was created and this glass house was hung on it like a lantern.

Before the Arsh was created, the Noor of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) had entered it and had started residing there.  For 2000 years, it kept saying "Allahu Allahu", then for 2000 years it kept repeating "Rahman, Rahman", then "Raheem, Raheem" for the same time.

The different attributes of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala), which are more than a thousand, each attribute was repeated for 2000 years.

During this, when it reached "Qahhar" and reflected on it, it thought this attribute desires the destruction of everything.  The Noor was so awed with this attribute that it started sweating.  Droplets of Noor started dripping.  With these droplets, Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) created the souls (Ruh) of Prophets.  The soul of each Prophet was hung around the Noor of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam)
