In Saudi German Hospital auditorium, a convention for felicitation of students by the Darul Elm, Jeddah (recognized No. 75) branch Jami Nizamia was organized under the guardianship of great thinker of Islam, Hadhrat Allama Maulana Mufti Khaleel Ahmed Sahab (Shaikh ul Jami Nizamia), in which, the Maulana Mufti Syed Ziauddin Naqshbandi Sahab (Naib Shaykh Ul Fiqh, Jamia Nizamia and Founder & President Abul Hasanaat Islamic Research Center) and Janab Hussain bin Umar Sahab also presided in it as the special guest.

Great thinker of Islam, Hadhrat Allama Maulana Maulana Khaleel Ahmed Sahab (Shaikh ul Jami Nizamia & Member of Muslim Personnel Law Board) in his presidential speech said that the great scholars of Islam and the Auliya (Friends of Allah SWT) sacrificed their whole lives in safeguarding Deen-e-Islam and for its propagation. He said that in a country, the scholars of religion, Doctors, lawyers and a person with any unique technical ability does not only exist but the people of various sects and the different languages exist too, for which, it requires the need of various kinds of modern and technical knowledge. If there, no scholars of different knowledge persist, then such a country cannot make a remarkable progress.

Addressing this great convention, Hadhrat Maulana Mufti Syed Ziauddin Naqshbandi Qadri Sahab said, in each era, only those communities and groups prospered who fasten themselves with the knowledge. Whether, it is the external success or internal advancement, it can only be attained through the knowledge. By the knowledge, not only an individual can benefit from it but simultaneously it opens doors of prosperity for the whole society.

Continuing his speech Hadhrat Maulana Mufti Syed Ziauddin Naqshbandi Qadri said that it is narrated in the Hadith of Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim that the Holy Prophet (Sallalahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “One can rejoice over two persons.”

1) First is the one to whom Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) gave wealth and he spends it in the cause of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala).
2) Second is the person to whom Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) gave knowledge and wisdom and he takes decisions according to it and teaches the same to others.

In Sunan-e-Darimi, it is stated by the Hadhrat Abdullah ibn Abbas (May Allah SWT be well please with him) that awakening for a part of night to acquire knowledge is far better than awakening for the whole night. It is also stated by Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah SWT be well please with him) that, “I split the night into three parts, I relax in its one part, I spend the other part in worship and I fix the last in memorizing the Hadith of the Holy Prophet (Sallalahu alaihi wa sallam).”

Further Maulana Maulana Mufti Syed Ziauddin Naqshbandi Qadri said that the Shaikh ul Islam, A'arif Billah, Imam Muhammad Anwarrullah Farooqi (May Allah SWT shower His mercy upon him) founder of Jami Nizamia established the great Islamic University upon the commandment of the Holy Prophet (Sallalahu alaihi wa sallam), whose educational bounty is prominent in all over the world and one of the branch of this great center of knowledge is busy rendering its services in Jeddah. In this Madressah, summer courses have be organized for the over all benefit of people. In which the basic knowledge of faith and beliefs and important issues are imparted to the students. This is a rejoicing event for the students and as well for their guardians.
