Seeking blessings from the relics of the Auliya?

Some people talk about seeking blessings (Barakah) from the relics of the Auliya and say that the deference and respect is shown to the clothes, for e.g. , of the Auliya.  Of What use is it?

Hadhrat Muhaddith-E-Deccan Syed Abul Hasanaat Abdullah Shah Sahab (May Allah Ta’ala be well pleased with him) dispelled these thoughts and doubts which are created in the heart and the mind in a very simple manner.  He writes in the Tafseer of verse number 96 of Surah Yousuf:

But when the bearer of the glad tidings arrived, and he cast that shirt over Ya‘qub (Jacob’s) face, his sight returned the same moment. Ya‘qub (Jacob) said: ‘Did I not say to you that I know from Allah what you do not know?’  (Surah Yousuf (12:96))

“Friends, if the company of the clothes is such then what about the company of the master of the clothes!  You can understand this yourself.  This verse shows that the company of the Auliya and other righteous folk is beneficial.  Many  of the modern educated people and among those who hold the traditional views, the Wahhabis deny the blessings of the clothes of the Auliya.

This verse shows that their view is wrong.  The blessings of the clothes of the Auliya cannot be denied.  Blessings through sight is also established.

Translation of Hadith: The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) granted one of His garments to a Sahabi.  He kept that for his funeral shroud (Kafan in Urdu) and willed that this should also be included in my funeral shroud.

Translation of Hadith:  Once the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) distributed His hair, which the Sahabah preserved with great respect and care.

A certain person said that a saint had given him a robe.  He says that as long as he would be wearing that robe, no thought of sin, major or minor, would cross his heart/mind.  First, I thought that this was a coincidence, but after repeated experiences, I realized that this is the blessing of the robe.
