SIGNS OF DAJJAL

The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) has described many signs of the coming of Dajjal.  There is a Hadith narrated from Hadhrat Hudhaifa (May Allah Ta’ala be well pleased with him):

Translation of Hadith:  Dajjal will rise and he will have water and fire along with him.  But what the people see as water will be burning fire and that which is seen as fire will be sweet, cold water.  Thus, whoever among sees Dajaal should go into that one which he (or she) sees as fire, as it will be sweet and good water.  (Sahih Bukhari, Hadith No: 3450)

There is a Hadith in Sahih Muslim:

Translation of Hadith:  The day when the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) warned people about Dajjal, He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: Indeed! “Kafir” (disbeliever) will be written between his eyes, which every person who does not like his actions will read or He said: Every Muslim (educated or uneducated) will read it.  He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: Remember! None of you will see your Lord until you die.  (Sahih Muslim, Hadith No: 7540)

There is a Hadith narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah Ta’ala be well pleased with him):

Translation of Hadith:  The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: Listen! I will tell you one detail about Dajjal, which no other Prophet has described to their Ummah.  Certainly! He will blind in one eye and will bring a thing like hell along with him.  Thus, about which he says is Jannah is in reality hell and I warn you about him like Hadhrat Nooh (peace be upon him) warned his ummah.  (Sahih Bukhari, Hadith No: 3338)
