The love of Imam Azam Abu Hanifa is a sign of guidance

The love of Imam Azam Abu Hanifa is a sign of guidance

Khalaf bin Ayyub used to say:  We don’t think well about the person who doesn’t exaggerate about Abu Hanifa.  Somebody asked:  What kind of exaggeration?  He said:  One should say that there was no one in his time more knowledgeable and more discerning than him.  The only reason was that that person is denying something which all the scholars and experts agree on, which shows that the poison of the jealous folk has affected that person as well.

Just see how passionate were the Hadith-experts about Abu Hanifa (May Allah be well pleased with him)!  Otherwise there were so many jealous of the Hanafi School of Jurisprudence that it would never have spread and because of their falsity, this true school would’ve been destroyed.

‘Abdul ‘Aziz bin Abi Rawaad (May Allah shower His mercy on him) says:  Abu Hanifa is the line of demarcation between us and others.  The one who loves him, we hold that person to be from the Ahle Sunnah and the person who hates him, we consider him to be from among the innovators.

Just think what was declared to be a sign of being a Sunni in those days, which was the best among eras.

Hadhrat ‘Abdullah bin Mubarak (May Allah shower His mercy on him) says:  Whenever I hear that a person speaks ill of Abu Hanifa (May Allah be well pleased with him), I detest seeing that person’s face and sitting with him out of the fear that the punishment of Almighty Allah would come in which I would also be ensnared.  After that, he said:  O Allah!  You know well that whatever they say about Abu Hanifa (May Allah be well pleased with him), I don’t approve of it.  And whatever people say in praise of him, he is even better than that.

The “Ameer-Ul-Momineen” of Hadith, about whom many Hadith-experts and saints have clarified that he is also among the saints, he realizes that speaking ill of the Imam leads to the wrath of Allah Most High.

‘Abdul ‘Aziz says:  I heard ‘Abdullah bin Mubarak (May Allah shower His mercy on him) say:  May Allah debase the person who speaks ill of Imam Abu Hanifa (May Allah be well pleased with him).
