LOVE OF THE AHLE BAIT AND THE SAHABAH IS A TRADITION OF THE AHLE SUNNAH

The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) has declared the Ahle Bait as the ship of deliverance and safety and the Sahabah as the stars of guidance.

Translation: "My Sahabah are like the stars of guidance. Whomever you follow, you will be guided."

Hadhrat Mulla Ali Qari (May Allah shower His Mercy upon him) writes in Mirqaat Ul Mafateeh on the authority of Imam Fakhruddin Radhi (May Allah SWT shower His Mercy on him).

Translation: By the grace and benevolence of Allah SWT, we, the Ahle Sunnah are in the ship of the love of the Ahle Bait and are also being guided by the stars of guidance i.e. the Sahabah of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). We hope that Allah SWT will save us from horrors of the Qiyamah and from the tortures of Hell and will grant us high stations in heaven, which is eternal"
