Courage

Dear!  Be it of this world or of religion, nothing can be accomplished without courage.  You take courage, be mindful of the majesty of Allah Most High and always remember death.  You consider this world to be an inn for travelers and your heart will turn away from this world and will turn to Almighty Allah.  Salaat and remembrance of Allah (Dhikr) will be going on.

Son!  Is there a thing that humans cannot accomplish?  However, some courage is required for this which leads one to conquer even unreachable forts.  With the same courage, eventually, the fort of the heart will also be conquered.

Son!  You might have seen insects whose aim seems to be to climb walls.  They take courage and start climbing.  They climb a bit and fall back.  Then they again take courage and climb.  They barely climb some distance that they are again back to square one.  This goes on happening, but congratulations be to their courage that they don’t lose courage and then a time comes when they scale the wall and accomplish their objective.

Son!  Human beings are the cream of all creation (Ashraf Ul Makhlooqaat).  Even if one falls dozens of times, one shouldn’t lose courage and eventually one day, the objective will be accomplished.  You take courage and Almighty Allah Himself will help you and this is what leads to steadfastness.

Every work is accomplished with a firm resolve.  Make a resolve, then see how Almighty Allah helps you.

Laziness and carelessness is not suitable for the lovers of Almighty Allah.  The main reason is that you haven’t used your courage.  There is nothing in the world which is impossible.  Get up!  Gird your loins!  Then you will not miss your daily Dhikr ever again.

Hadhrat Yousuf Asbaat (May Allah shower His mercy on him) says:  The value of a man is as per his courage.  If his courage is only for worldly affairs, then he has no value and if his courage is for the affairs of the hereafter, then it is not at all possible to estimate the value of such a person.

Hadhrat Pirane Pir Ghouse Azam Dastagir (May Allah shower His mercy on him) says:  Courage is that one removes the love of the world from the heart and the hereafter from the soul and through the heart annihilates one’s wish before the wish of Allah and removes laziness from one’s inner self (Batin).

Hadhrat Noori (May Allah shower His mercy on him) says:  I saw an old man who was being flogged and he was silent.  When he was sent to the prison, I followed him and asked him:  O man!  You are so old and weak.  It is surprising as to how you could be patient.  He said:  Son!  Misfortunes are bore with courage not with the body.
