The miracles of Imam Hussain
(May Allah be well pleased with him)
Imam Hussain (May Allah be well pleased with him) was born on 5th Sh’abaan in 4 Hijri. The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) performed the Tahneek with His own blessed saliva and put His own saliva into the mouth of Imam Hussain (May Allah be well pleased with him). The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said the Adhaan in his ear and named him “Hussain.” The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) blessed him and performed his ‘Aqeeqa ceremony on the 7th day.
Imam Hussain (May Allah be well pleased with him) was martyred at in the Battle of Karbala on the 10th of Muharram in 61 Hijri on the command of Yazid. There are innumerable excellences of Imam Hussain (May Allah be well pleased with him).
