Question: ASAK Mufti saheb Qibla, I'll perform Haj for my late grandfather. Shall the Qurbani be offered in his name only? ............................................................................
Answer: If you are doing the Hajj only to gift the reward to your late grandfather, then along with the other articles of Hajj, you may gift the reward to your late grandfather. If you are offering Hajj on behalf of your grandfather (Hajj Badal), then as you are performing Hajj on behalf of your grandfather, you will sacrifice the animal also in his name.
