f:88 -    Taharah and urination problem
Country : ,
Name :
Question:     One of my Aunt aged about 62years is suffering with the problem of frequent urination and now the condition has gone beyond her control, treatment is going on since long but the problem still exists & as such it has become very difficult for her to be in the State of TAHARTH all the time and due to which she could'nt even able to offer the regular prayers.
Due to the age factor it is not even possible to take bath regularly.
Kindly provide the solution in light of Qur'an & Sunnah?
Regards

Answer:     In the terminology of the Shariah, your aunt is "excused."

The ruling here is that when the time of Salaat comes, she should clean the private parts and make fresh Wuzu and offer Salaat.  If during the Salaat, she voids, then there is no problem for her as she is excused.  If she cannot perform Wuzu, then she may perform Tayammum and offer Salaat.  Under no circumstances, she is permitted to leave Salaat.
