Question: ASAK.can we apply sunscreen when fasting? and also is wearing contact lenses permissible during fasting and during wazu? ............................................................................
Answer: The basic thing to be remembered here is that if something enters the body, the fast is invalidated. In applying sunscreen lotion, as it does not enter the body, the fast is not affected. If only contact lenses are used, the fast is not affected by them. However, putting some medicine in the eyes while fasting is not permissible. For ablution with contact lenses, please refer to the Fatwa database and search in it. And Allah Most High knows best.
