f:661 -    Lady says she talks to Prophet Isa (Peace be upon him)
Country : Hyderabad,
Name : Ali
Question:     A certain person says that she talks with Prophet Isa (peace be upon him).  She tells in advance what will happen in somebody's house and says that Prophet Isa (peace be upon him) tells her this.  I want to know whether any other Prophet apart from Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) can also talk to their Ummah?
............................................................................
Answer:     If the past Prophets had been in the time of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) or if they had come after Him, they would follow the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), as the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said about Prophet Moosa (peace be upon him):

Translation:  By Him who holds my life in His hands!  If Moosa were here, he would have no other go other than to follow me.  (Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaiba, Hadith No. 46421)

When Prophet Isa (peace be upon him) will come near the Qiyamah, he will follow the Shariah of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam).  Thus, there is a Hadith in Sahih Muslim:

Translation: It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be well pleased with him), he said that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said:  By Allah!  Indeed, Isa bin Maryam will come as the one who judges as per the Shariah of Hadhrat Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) and one who establishes justice.  He will break the cross, kill pigs, taking Jizyah will cease (everyone will embrace Islam and there will be no non-Muslims), camels will roam free and will not be put to work.  Surely, rancor, mutual enmity and jealousy will be removed from the hearts of people.  When invited to take money, nobody will accept it.  (Sahih Muslim, Hadith No. 408)

The said lady who claims that she talks to Prophet Isa (peace be upon him), tells beforehand what is going to happen in somebody's house, these are all tricks.  This lady does not have the support of Hadhrat Isa (peace be upon him).  After the coming of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), until the Qiyamah, only His Shariah will remain in force.  Everything else is wrong.  If she was really attached to Prophet Isa (peace be upon him), she would have testified her faith in the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) and would act upon His Shariah.  All the Prophets are alive and receive sustenance (Rizq) as given in this Hadith:

Translation: It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Aus Bin Aus that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said:  Among your days, the most superior is Friday.  On this day, Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) was born and on this day, he passed away.  The "Soor" will be sounded on this day and on this day, people will fall into a faint.

Thus, on this day, you send Durood on me profusely, as your Durood is presented before me.  The narrator says that the Sahabah asked the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam):  O Prophet of Allah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)!  How will our Durood be presented before you after your passing away?  The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said:  The fact is that Allah Ta'ala has forbidden on the earth the bodies of the Prophets.
