Question: I sleep under the open sky because of the heat, but my friend told that it is not correct to sleep under the open sky. Please guide me. ............................................................................
Answer: Walaikum Assalaam Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakutuhu, I have not found any Hadith/Tradition prohibiting sleeping under the open sky. The Sahabah in the blessed era of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) would sleep under the open sky when they were on campaigns, as it was not possible to provide a tent for everybody in time. This shows that sleeping under the open sky is not wrong.
