Question:     What is Islam and how does one become a Muslim?

Answer:     Islam is a true religion and a complete code of life.  A person enters this religion with affirmation of Tauheed (the unity of Allah Ta’ala) and the Prophethood of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam).  Salaat, fasts, Zakaat and Haj are its pillars.  All the teachings of Islam are of peace and harmony.

And Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) knows best.
