f:549 -    Hadith about visiting the Holy Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)

Question:     All the Hajis go to visit the Raudha of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam).  Is there a Hadith, which says that Shafaat is Wajib for those who do this?

Answer:     The Hadith about which you have asked is from Sunan Daraqutni, Shu'abul Iman, Jame' Ul Ahadith, Jam Ul Jawame', Majma Uz Zawaaid, Kanz Ul Ummal:


Translation:  It has been narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Abdullah Bin Umar (May Allah be well pleased with them), he narrates that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: My intercession (Shafa'at) becomes Wajib (Compulsory) for the person who visits my Raudha.
