Question:     Can a lady take a bath during her menses?

Answer:     During menses, it is permissible to take a bath.  It is commendable to take a bath for cleanliness.  However, with this bath, a lady in menses does not attain Taharah.  Until her menses end, she cannot offer Salaat, recite the Holy Quran or fast.

And Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) knows best.
