Question:     What is the ruling of Taraweeh for traveler?

Answer:     Taraweeh is a Sunnah even for a traveler.  However, about the Sunnah, the Jurists have clarified that the traveler should not leave the Sunnah of Salaat Ul Fajr.  It is better to offer the Sunnah of Salaat Ul Maghrib as well.  The basic truth is that in times of calm and peace, the Sunnah Salaat should be offered.  In times of restlessness and fear, the Sunnah can be left.  As given Radd Ul Muhtaar, Kitab Us Salaat.
