Question: Can we use Syed Ul Bashr, Fakhr-e-Alam, Khair Ul Anaam, etc. for others? ............................................................................
Answer: Syed Ul Bashr (Lit. Leader of all men), Fakhr-e-Alam (Lit. The pride of the world), Khair Ul Anaam (Lit. The best of all creation) are used only for the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). It is forbidden and impermissible to use these for anyone else. However, doing this is not disrespect or Kufr (apostasy). If it can be used with anything that limits or qualifies it like Afdhal Ul Ulema (The best of the scholars), etc. Also to be noted is that can any Muslim think of anyone else other than the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) as Syed Ul Bashr or Fakhr-e-Alam?
