Question: I have seen cupping used even in European countries. What I want to know is if we get this done, will we get any reward for this? ............................................................................
Answer: The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) has used cupping/bloodletting and has granted payment for this, as given in Sahih Bukhari, Hadith No. 2158. Bloodletting is a kind of treatment. If while getting this done, one makes the intention of acting upon the Hadith, then we will be rewarded for this as well. And Allah Most High knows best.
