Question:     Can I bury the first hair of my son in Jannatul Baqee, Madina Munawwarah?  Thanx.

Answer:     Walaikum As Salaam Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakutuhu,

Burying the first hair of the children in Jannaatu Baqee is not established by the lives of the Pious Predecessors (Salaf Saliheen).  However, every Muslim should desire that he/she be buried in blessed land of Madina Munawwarah, as the Hadith describe the excellence of this.

Translation of Hadith: Whoever can die in Madina Munawwarah, should die in Madina, as I will intercede (perform Shafa'ah) for those who die in it.  (Jame' Tirmidhi, Hadith No. 4296)

And Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) knows best.
