Answer: The following are the undesirable acts in slaughtering animals: Sharpening the knife in front of the animal The knife should not be so blunt that the person who slaughters should have to use more than the necessary force on it. The animal should not be slaughtered from the back of the neck. To cut so hard that the head gets separated from the body or the knife reaches the marrow of the bone of the neck, which is forbidden. Peeling off the skin or separating the head of the slaughtered animal before it is completely dead. Dragging the animal by its legs to the place of slaughter. Slaughtering one animal in front of another animal. Slaughtering at night. Slaughtering the animal which is in labor. Acting against the Sunnah of slaughtering the animals.
